today it was snowing so i wanted to ride. i started it up and it starting making noises in the engine, and it wouldnt turn off. so i turned of the gas and let it idle til it stops. now it wont start up, anyone know whats the issue?

 

hey, i have the same quad and iv never ran in2 a problem like that but it could be a couple of things, like your stator or several wiring connections..do your still have spark or theres nothing at all?

 

No, but it might be that it's cold because this has happened before. Or it because it needs oil. I checked it and it has 1/3 of a inch

 

U should put more oil in there. It would more than likely clear up that noise. I was able 2 start my quad in -20 with no choke. Does ur batt hold a good charge? Upgraded jets I find help with idling

 

Alright I will, and ya it idles good. But I've had a problem where it would make the starting noise, but it wasn't starting. So we took a wrench and put it from the battery to what I think looked like a starte cylinder
