Default 93' Honda 300 HELP!

I have a friends Honda 300 2wd in the shop working on it. The float in the carb. was stuck and filled the engine with gas. When it came in there was oil/gas coming out where the right side crankcase cover bolts up. I've repaired the carb and changed the oil 3 times. The engine is running great now. But it is still leaking oil. My question is when I take the right side case off to replace the gasket what am I in for? Is there anything that's going the fall or fly out once the cover is removed? Any help will be great. Thanks, Rusty
