honda foreman ES
on a 2003 450 foreman ES when im going about 40-45 mph sometimes my gear indicator will start flashing and it wont shift with out turning the key off and turning it back on ? gear indicator light flashes 2 times when i do the system ck,but not everytime once in 30 times i do the check it will flash, its random can you help thx Ron

Try pulling out the fuses from under the seat and reinstalling them,that will reset things. It straigten a few shift quirts on my 450es foreman.

 

is there a way to remove the centrical clutch without using a honda puller ? thx Ron

 

I tried to pull mine off with a jaw type puller, tried the prybar/hammer technique, tried mild heat, and then gave up and hauled the bike to the local dealer. I bought some oil and a new filter cartridge and discussed my problem with the counterman. He went to the back and brought the special tool out along with a wrench and a socket and handle. He pulled it off for me in less than a minute for free.
