1994 Polaris 300 2x4 wont run when it gets hot

Default 1994 Polaris 300 2x4 wont run when it gets hot

i just recently rebuild the top end and rebuilt the carb it runs perfect when its cold but when it warms up the motor gets louder and it shuts down but doesnt sieze up. Any suggestions? i might try to mix the gas and see it that does anything

If you just did a top end only and didn't check the rod and crank bearings,this could be a problem area. When they run good cold,then lose power when warm it's either the piston's losing seal against the cylinder or you have some bottom end problems. Plus if you just stuck a new std piston and rings in the atv and didn't bore it out to a larger oversize this will happen almost every time. OPT
