03 Honda 250EX Spark issues.
#1
Hey guys, I am stumped on this. I saw some post similar but figured I'd post my exact issues.
- I only get two sparks out of plug, when I first hit starter and when releasing starter button. Only those two times, no matter how long bike cranks.
-I also have NO reverse or neutral lights. But key still works head/tail light.
-Tested bulbs, connections, new battery and plugs. Swapped all external ignition components with other (running) bike.
Now I've read that the neutral/reverse switch will not change spark.
And I have to admit the push button aint working, Im jumping the solenoid by battery.
I guess my question is... Does anyone know if reverse/neutral switch really don't change spark? Could I just unplug the two wires coming out of motor?
Maybe stator?
Any help is greatly appreciated. And I will follow up with results!

ok. tested reverse/ neutral wires coming out of motor.
in neutral grey and green wire read about 1.300 m ohms
in reverse both read about 1.850 m ohms
in 1st gear both read about .770 m ohms
I also have 12v going to these wires from harness. Key kills power when off.
