Default 2003 predator 500

Hey guys bought a 2003 predator 500 couple days ago runs great but yesterday after a hard day of riding took it to the power washer when I got home it wouldn't start came back out this morning and it fired right up now I rode again today hard and it does the same thing after sitting for a few minutes it will start then die out in 10 seconds but won't stay running why is this happening is it normal?

After I washed it and is sat for about 40 minutes

Try a search, maybe even google. I know the Preds had an issue with water causing electrical problems. Looks like this could be your issue too. For the record, power washers are convenient but tend to cause more harm than good if you aren't careful.

Well the just talked to the guy and I guess the coil has a crack in it and the guy electrical taped it

Just bought liquid tape see if that fixes it

Tryed retaping the spot I can't even see any wires through it doesn't look like its messed up I see little spot that looks a little scuffed up but I can't see wires anyone got any ideas of what it could be it worked for about 2 min after regular wash with hose then nothing

Pull all the connections from the electrical components and blow em out with compressed air.Use electrical grease on everything and see if it does all right then. Keep power washers away from electrical wiring.
