Suzuki Eiger 400 back fires through carb
#1
I own a 2005 Suzuki Eiger 400 it began to back fire through the carb a while back, not long ago I was riding and it shut down as if it ran out of gas after a few minutes it started again but would only run a short time. I have cleaned the entire fuel system, gas tank, peacock, and carb. Now it starts well, idles fine and still back fires through the carb when I increase the rams. Could this be a valve adjustment issue? Any help is appreciated. Danny

Got it fixed yet, Danny?
You might want to see if the ignition is cutting out at higher RPM. There are several ways to test that, including with
an inductive timing light, or an inductive tachometer. If it is cutting out, the biggest suspect should be the coil or plug cap.
