dbeck, you shouldn't have let the buy backs worry you. Everything has some teething problems. Ford sells more diesel pickups than GM and Dodge combined. Good luck with the new truck. I like the latest trend with the big rig styling in the heavy duty class of trucks. Ford is even going there with the new F-150s. Chevy 1500 series trucks are to put it mildly, ugly as sin. I hate the headlights. The GMC Sierra looks just fine.

Figured out why it wasn't letting me post replies!! (Sorry about making Dodge post #2) Ours is an 03 Ram 3500 Quadcab 4X4 dually with the HO Cummins Turbo. The only additions to it so far have been Putco 4" nerf bars and mudflaps! There's pics of it in our folder. It's our first nice truck, and we LOVE it! (Mrs. Q) Our Pics

I can't wait until I can get my own truck. I am looking forward to purchasing one of dodge's 2500 HO 600 cummins. The only things I'm worried about with dodge's is the crew cabs being too small and the transmission troubles. I wish dodge would make their crew cabs like fords. I rode all the way to Florida in a f-350 crew cab and had plenty of room with 5 people in it.

I'm not sure where the room issue is coming from. Ours is a quadcab (I guess that is what they formerly used to call crew cab - Dodge Ram no longer has the SMALL quadcab) the back seat in our QUADCAB is FULL size - 3 people can set back there easily. The rear passenger doors are FULL size doors. They have fixed the tranny issue too. We researched it before we bought it. I'm not sure if you can see the doors in the pics or not, I'll get some of the side view and of the interior so you can see what I am talking about. We've had 6 people in the truck (one was a child up front with us). Not a problem!! (Mrs. Q)

Quadcrew- Beautiful truck!!! That black looks real nice.
As a side note, I THOUGHT (correct me if Im wrong) that the Cummins HO was onoly available with the 6 speed manual? Cuz that T56 6 speed is definately one of the STRONGEST manual trannies ever made!
