I have a 02 dodge ram 1500 2x4, I really dont care much for the transmission in it, that Is its biggest drawback, I wouldnt mine having a 2500 with a diesel, that is about the only one they offer now I like.

Ours is a quadcab (I guess that is what they formerly used to call crew cab - Dodge Ram no longer has the SMALL quadcab) the back seat in our QUADCAB is FULL size - 3 people can set back there easily. The rear passenger doors are FULL size doors. They have fixed the tranny issue too. We researched it before we bought it. I'm not sure if you can see the doors in the pics or not, I'll get some of the side view and of the interior so you can see what I am talking about. We've had 6 people in the truck (one was a child up front with us). Not a problem!! (Mrs. Q)

The automatics in the 03 HOs and I believe all the 04s and up are the 48RE. Not sure what all the changes where made between these and the 47RE which were used in the 03 SOs and the 02s. I do know they changed the trans housings, and planetarys on the 48RE. Also believe they changed the electronics so the 48RE won't shift into OD if it gets too hot for self preservation until it cools off. I bet those Dodge tranny engineers have been awake more than one night trying to find a way to keep those cummins diesels pushing 555 to 600 lbs of torque from tearing up their work. A 2001 club cab 2500 Dodge turbo Diesel, no troubles at all 57000 miles, it pulls my Elkhorn slip in camper and 26 foot enclosed trailer with the toys loaded in it with no problems, always have been a Chevy guy but this Diesel is awsome...

99 1500 4x4 reg cab long box. Gas sucking dog, I see the reason for the 35 gallon tank (kissed off 60$ Friday @ 1.79 a gallon) but the atv does fit nicely in the back even with a plow.

$1.79...hell that's a bargain. The cheapest around here I've found was $1.96 Friday morning at the local Costco. Went to Pismo and I paid $2.11 to fill up. Good thing I'm knocking the 20MPG door! Most of the Chevron's and Unicals were around $2.23. That's 87 boys and girls. Cheapest fuel I seen was $1.89 for #2 diesel at a Chevron in Templeton (just south of Paso Robles and north 30 miles of Pismo.) Local diesel can be found for about $1.79 but I haven't been by any of the cheap stations with diesel. Closest to me is a Chevron that is horrid.
