Trasher - check out the pics in my sig. We did just that - put cupboards, shower (full size), porta potty, fresh water tank, water heater, water pump, sink and refrigerator in a 16 ft. trailer. When we get to where we are going, we pull the quads out and put in an air mattress. We got everything either at Home Depot or Wal-Mart (except for the water pump - it came from ebay). Everyone that sees it can't believe how nice it turned out. I put wall paper and paint in it, so it really looks like it was professionally done. If you have any questions, just ask! The pics are in the Quadhauler folder. There is a close up of under the sink where the water heater and tanks and stuff are. (Mrs. Q)

I did already. It looks great! That's what got me going (It's all your fault now-lol)

Is what looks to be a shower also have a toilet included? What size tanks do you have on it?

Trasher - There is a "porta potty" setting in the shower. It is the big one, top of the line. Just like a small RV, you can set on it to take your shower. That is the drawback to our system (not that big of deal to me) That is the "black water" tank you will have to empty and clean. The freshwater tank is only 33 gallons, but for us, that was as big as we could go with the space available. (you can buy those on-line, cheaper than at the RV stores!) We're VERY conservative with water, and I pack along a couple of extra 5 gallon carriers if we're going to be gone for a while. For the grey water, instead of putting a permanent tank under the trailer, we bought one of those blue portable grey water tanks (35 gallons). Inside the shower is the fill for the freshwater, and we hooked the sink and shower drains together, so they have one pipe they exit through. Hope that helps - if you need more info, just ask! Thanks so much!
I would like to have a pooper with Black water tank instead of the portable type. I'll have to find out what size tanks would work and get all the other needed plumbing that goes with it.

Did you install a generator and batterries? What runs the Frig?

It is wired for electric hookups - we wired it so it has one big cord just like an RV, and it is underneath the trailer in a locked plastic box (just like it would be on the side of an RV) We also have it so that the water pump and lights can run off of the marine battery (it's in the photo underneath the sink). We have a small portable generator to use if we are going to be where there is no electric. If we don't mind a cold shower, we are actually self contained. Even the frig works out if we don't have electric, we have just put a bag of ice in the bottom of it and used it like a built in cooler. We didn't want the hassle of trying to hook up a black water tank under the trailer, that's why we did the porta potty thing, and it's actually not bad. They've changed them a lot from when we first started camping! I think we did some pretty ingenious stuff with it, and we have pretty much figured out how to use it in almost any situation. It gets the job done!! (Mrs. Q)
