I have an '03 Dodge HO Cummins diesel with a 6 speed and I just purchased a Predator performance module to enhance the power and torque. It claims a cleaner, more efficient burn of the fuel in the cylinders without raising the EGT's. It doesn't dump more fuel into the cylinders just a more efficient burn that doesn't alter the timing. It also doesn't void the factory warranty. Has anyone tried one of these modules on their diesel? Was there a milaege increase?

I am skeptical because i had a meltdown on my '99 Cummins that was chipped with a comp box, injectors, exhaust, and lift pump mods. I lost my #6 wristpin and a month later blew my headgasket. Don't want to go through that mess again. Any comments would be appreciated.

i have a 4.5 600 cummins and tried a friends 85 hp predator. It does have usable egts while unloaded, but once you put anything behind the truck, it's useless. I had a 4k dump trl empty and couldn't get out of 2 nd gear because of egts. I run egt,boost and trans guages. I also run an airraid cold air intake and straight pipe. I f you tow look elsewhere, otherwise there will be problems. My buddy i borrowed it from also has the same ride, which he had it on his since feb, and needless to say hes' due for a new trans because of it.
