What is your Ranger's towing capacity?

That's a neat little set up A little smaller then I would like though. But, I think your ranger would pull it

Looking at Ford's page, depending upon the engine, the most towing capacity a Ranger might have is around 5800... Not much to work with.

Tahoe used to make a 16' combo trailer. It is half open flat bed, and listes unloaded weight of 2,760 with GVWR of 7,000...

I don't see it on Tahoe's page, so it may have been discontinued. I googled around for a while, and found one on RV trader online with photos. I was going to post a link, but then realized that would violate the rules... Google or search rvtrader for "pak rat" 16TB.

If you do have the Ranger with 5800 towing capacity, and you don't carry much, it might be possible to stay under your ratings with one...

Personally, I think you may need to think of something else, like a different vehicle.

Alternate choice

Jeffin, Yes, they dicontinued those units. I think it was here(on this forum) where someone posted, they sold like 12 for the first year. Not good numbers to continue making them

I agree, another tow vehicle is the answer.
