Will this size tire fit without a lift?

Can i put a set of 33inch tires mounted on 15x10 inch wheels on my half ton silverado without putting a lift. If it will fit how bad will it scrub or will it at all.

minor trimming is needed on K5 & K10 models ( lower rear edge or fender ) . Depending on shape of truck, tap lower edge in with hammer. only needs a little. My 02 silverado has 285's on stock alloys with no probs, but 10 inchers looks like you'll need to trim some plastic . not sure what offset is needed either. hope that helps ya some.

joechum, what year is your truck.
I have a 97 Silverado 4x4 1/2 Ton and I was thinking of upgrading my tires from 265/75 R16 to the next size up a 285/75 R16 but I was told that I would need at least an 2.5inch lift for those tires to fit. I'm not actually sure what that size is in imperial. I thinking it's close to 33" tall & 12" wide.
