Default need bigger coil air bags!

I have a tahoe raised with a 4 rancho suspension and i am going to be towing a 26 foot weakend worrior. it is really overweight but I could not pass up the deal. so i really need any ideas to help me minimize the damage to my transmission. and I ready have the hitch and anti-sway with weight distribution set up but I think I really need air bags in my rear coils. the inside demensions of the coil are 14x5 and they only sell 10x5 does anyone know of a spacer that I could put inside my coil to take up that 4 inches of space on my air bags inside the coil?

I guess I'm missing the point here.

Putting air bags on the rear end isn't going to make it any easier on the transmission to pull the load. Find out the load rating of your Tahoe, check the plate on the trailer you bought and see how heavy it is. If the trailer is more than the Tahoe is rated to pull be prepared to trade. You are asking for trouble in the long run. If you are in a wreck your insurance carrier can drop you in a heart beat.

Now, if you are still within the load rating of the vehicle then that's a whole different story. Take a look at Firestone's website. I'm sure they will have something to help your situation.

I had a '99 Tahoe and it was rated to tow 6800 lbs. If you have a '99 or earlier model Tahoe I would be concerned about being able to stop in an emergency. Towed a 16' enclosed trailer rated at 7000 lbs for awhile and decided to trade vehicles.

Putting air bags on the vehicle will not change the towing capacity of your vehicle. It will just change the riding height of the rear end and help the riding charactor of the suspension system. As Buck182 mentioned, your asking for trouble down the road and God forbid you getting into an emergency with that set up. Consider upgrading your vehicle or getting a smaller trailer.
