Default Truck+Toolbox+Atv???? Will it work?

I have some tools I need to carry and a few tow straps I need to carry and I dont want to have them laying in the cab because I have a subbox under my whole rear seat and an amp under the driver seat and a jack under the passenger so does anyone have any pictures of an atv in the back of the truck with a tool box in a safe way that is secure? I would like the tailgate to be up but I can do without it. Please tell me what kind of toolbox it is, how much it was and where you got it? or how you setup the atv in the truck

I don't have any pics, but I have fit a YFZ in my Ram with a fullsize truck tool box, tailgate up, and there was still a bit of room to spare after all that. The box is probably about 18" wide and basically fits the width of the truck bed. My truck has the 8' bed, this setup would not have allowed the tailgate up with a 6' bed.

I have ashort box so I am going to get a little one that mounts sidways against the bed side and goes half way over the fender. They sit below the rail and dont go any farther into the box than the wheel well. Should be able to fit all my straps and junk in with room to spare and not take up any of the usable space in the box.

UWS, Better Built, Dee Zee, Weather Guard, Delta, Deflecta Shield, Trail FX..... They all make them. Pic your budget and one of these companies will probably have one to fit it. Price depends on the name.

That Tuffy one above is abought twice the size of the one I want. Same principle just bigger than what I had in mind. All the local Tractor/Farm suply stores around here cary a asortment of differnt boxes. The prices are anywhere from $80 for the most basic plastic one to over $200 for diamand plate ones that have pull out drawers in them and open from the back. I had thought abought getting one of these but I dont think the biggest drawer is big enough for my 6" drop hitch to fit in.

This is closer to what I will probobly get. Under $100 at local farm suply stores for the plastic ones.

I know you said you would prefer the tailgate to be up but it wasn't a must. Well I built me one of these to slide into the receiver from some extra square tubing we had laying around at work.
Receiver
I designed it to hold the front end of my ATV 3 inches from my aluminum tool box. Works great. When I get to where I'm going, I take the coupler lock off (optional but helps protect it from thieves) and slide the whole unit to the ground so the ATV can clear it. I then pull my ramps out from underneath the ATV and back right off the truck ready to go riding.

I would get one of those and that is an awesome idea but I have a 400ex and I dont have a ball on the fourwheeler so it couldnt hook up to it.
