Flat nose vs V-nose
Let us know how that flat nose pulls. I have a V-nose on mine and am constantly kicking myself for it. The problem is that the V is somewhat wasted space. If you have ever tried to do some built ins in the v, you will know what I am talking about. Everything seems to be a compromise. As for pulling, mine seems to get blown around quite a bit. I'll be interested in how yours reacts.
Granted, my trailer is just a tad under 11 ft tall. (8' tall inside)

originally i was going to get a V nose but it wouldnt of fit in my driveway the tounge would of been on side walk , I could just see some kid on a bike riding down the walk and hitting the trailer that has lawsuit all over it. Im glad i went with the one i have the whole front will be cabinets high and low with a counter top with small fridge in it some where. I havent pulled it loaded yet and wont for a while (the kid just wiped out on his bike and broke his hand and shoulder) so we wont be riding for 6 weeks min, unloaded the new dodge pulled it unreal and with 2k more pounds i dont think it will be any problems, i bet yours being so tall just catches so much more wind then one like mine.

I agree with you, the wind is doing a number on me. My current truck has a topper on it now and that helped greatly. Plus I have a load equalizer hitch on it now that has really made a big difference.
I actually traded my Hemi Ram for a Cummins to make up for it's problems pulling the weight. No problems now. The gas milage sure went up with the diesel. I was getting 5 to 6 pulling it empty at 4500 lbs, now I am getting 15 with the Cummins pulling loaded 8000#. The thing actually pulls better with weight than it does empty.
