hey im new to this type of thing (threads) so please bare with me . i have polaris 500 2005 . when i bought it the battery was (dead i bought it used ) so i drove it around for a short while till i had the money to buy one . the four wheeler drove good, started good it was good . i put a new one in and tried to start it nothing i checked the batt. good , i also when i put it in made sure not to short it out and not to cross the terminals . so i traced it to the switch. i took the switch out and jumped the wires out and it started . so bad switch ? .. well i though it was so so i got one and put it in nothing . bad new switch slim to non but i took it back just in case . got another new one put it in nothing . when i ohm out the switch it dosnt ohm like ik am having to jump the wires . the dealer ssays that it the right part plus its the same part num as the old one .so the swear that it is the ecm . why would it run so good when i jump it out butr the switch wont work ? months down the road now it wont start at all it just clicks like the solenoid is bad but . by the way this ecm has been replaced 3 time under warranty and can any one tell somewhere to find one cheap
