Polaris 600 twin ignition upgrade
#1
Hi,
I recently had a no spark issue with my 600 sportsman, I posted on here and found out lot's of useful information. I bought my Kokusan ignition kit from hit-the-gas.com paid $439 shipped, got everything I needed and the instruction's were easy to follow(they said nothing about needing a flywheel puller to pull flywheel), they also didn't explain that you had to hook the red wire from the jumper wire for the kill switch to switched power, the first time I tried to start the machine it did not start. Started right up after hooking the red wire up. Can't give you the time it took me as I worked on it in my spare time, here and there. The kit was easy to do, looked scarey at first but was gravy !!!! OPT(old Polaris tech) was lot's of help and thank you OPT for that. There is a pretty good you tube video on this job as well, the motor is in a home made tube buggy but it did help. Anyway I hope that this help's anyone out, this site helped me and just want to pay it forward and maybe help someone else.
AGAIN THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP
