speaking of Costco, i just bought a $60 Cdn winch from them. Has a 6 or 12 foot remote, 2000lb, AND a really cool ****** block included. try buying that from Warn for under $300. just gotta find a mounting plate now, or make one.

NOW, i was looking for a mounting plate and fairlead...OUCH!! Warn plate is $53 and fairlead is $40 (?) at gowarn.com, and they're usually cheapest. those are US prices too, BEFORE shipping. I never paid that for the winch!! Looks like i'll be trying to fab something up in the shop.

 

BTW MD, how's the daughter takin to the Rap80? AND, if ya can't get one of these winches for cheap at home, i could always grab you one for my March trip to Oregon.
