I think I've passed 1,000 miles of driving in the last week! Or close. 300+ Monday and Tuesday. Then just general driving 100+ up to Miami for the weekend. And 200 today.

funny how crude price increase = same day jack at the pump, but crude drop = "we have to sell off old stocks and that will takes several months". freakin bandits!!
when we drove ALL the way to Florence and none of you came to see us (except our good friend fishslab), there's this outfit that converts Prevost's and Greyhound type buses into some fancy slide-out mo-homes. they are SWEEEEEEEET. i betcha they gotta cost 1/2 mil. wish i could remember the name of the joint. they were near Coburg or Eugene, Oregon.

yep, MD, i know you gave it serious consideration. it was more of a slam directed at people from WA state, who's backyards i drove thru....and they didn't even come out for a visit (or invite me to a meeting place)! well, if any of you ever come up the the Great White North, i'll take ya fer a ride. i might even supply the quad.
we just looked at a beautiful log cabin (5100 sq/ft) on 10 acre parcel of land, right in the heart of our favorite riding area. i'm still drooling. and it's just beyond our affordability range. and we could ride form the front door.

sounds like yer headed to the Queen Charlotte Islands area.BTW, i know exactly what chicks yer talkin about and where. we call it an "Indian Reserve", and the free drinks will get ya a long way. if there's any other cheap/easy ones, i'd really like to hear where, cuz they ain't in this pinko city...unless yer payin', and you did seem to have a good handle on The Swedish Touch.
