Camaro SS
Test drove one finally today, this was an automatic. Talk about no head room in the rear, my head literally was hitting the roof. Anyway this car moves! And when you let off the gas, you can feel the torque pushing you forward. Dealer wanted $10k more then it was going for at another dealer with same options. So paying $46k was ridiculous when I can get it at another dealer for $36k with same options, except it being a stick, which i want. But I am waiting for GM to see if they will produce the Z28, it's all ready and finalized, just shelved for now. The Z28 will have a super charger and well over 600 horses, more like 650 i think it said.

That one was the auto which had 420 hp. The manual one (The one I want) has 426 hp.
I am waiting for the Z28, it's already designed and ready to roll on the production line, but is shelved right now. Comes with a SC 553 hp. Same engine set up as the CTS-V. Also has 550 tq. Not sure what the final price would be, thinking high $40's.

Yea you can order a transformers limited edition one. Rear seat has no head room at all! I sat back there and had to have my head positioned sideways cause it hit the roof. also it takes time to put people back there about 30-45 seconds to retract the power seats. So back seats area is a little bit bigger then the vette. It's gotta nice size trunk though. I would never even think about buying first model year, i would wait because GM is gonna add more power to compete with the Chanllenger RT which is a nice car too! I think GM is gonna up the power either for 2011 or 2012. Ford is also going to add more power to the Mustang GT in 2010 or 2011, probably go with a DI engine, but the Camaro SS has a huge gap in horse pwer over the Mustang GT, and the only way you'll see the Mustang GT while in a Camaro SS is when it is fading away int he rear view mirror.
I like black with silver racing stripes, or silver with black racing stripes. Yellow is cool too!

ok isn't gm doing it backwards now? i always remembered the ss having MORE power than the z28.....is this upside down world now? don't get me wrong, nice looking car, but i'd never buy one, wayy to much money for something like that. u can build up an older camaro or mustang for thousands less and whoop that thing on the street without blinking

Give it a bit, the new Mustang GT's are supposed to have a 400+ hp 5.0L V8 and will be cheaper than the camaro.
