clutch kits

Default clutch kits

Has anyone installed the High-Lifter clutch kit on their Grizzly? Was it fairly easy to do? I want to put one on my 03 but wanted some feedback from you guy's. How much doe's it improve the performance? Thank's.

I've ridden my buddy's Grizz and it has the High Lifter clutch kit in it..With 28" Outlaws it will wheelie on command,but it has other mods also!Not sure about the install cause he the dealer do his,but Ive heard it is a pain!

I am not sure about the performance because I have the 03 kodiak but the installation is not that difficult although you will need a tool to compress the secondary clutch spring if you are changing it. I put an epi utility clutch kit in my kodiak for the oversize tires and I am quite happy with it. The primary now picks up at higher rpms to put more power to the wheels and I didn't lose any top end speed, it shows a couple mph slower on the speedo but the tires are 27" instead of stock 25" so its about the same.
actual speed=speedo x (27"/25")

Thank's for the info, I think I will try to tackle this clutch kit myself. If I can't figure it out there's alway's the dealer!!!
