Just wondering if anybody here ever riden a Vinson with a EPI clutch kit installed and 27" tires?

If so...please tell me about how it was.

My clutch kit will be here tomorrow....hehehe

 

i have 27" 589s and the clutch kit. i like it alot. it works very good

 

Mine is installed...the WHOLE kit...had to split the case to put those 5 little springs in....I was suprized at how much heavier the were than the stock spring. I also installed the weights (silver/gold staggered them...) after tapping out the old ones. And I installed the big yellow spring. I'm glad I work at a shop and have top notch machanics there to aide me.

First ride impression....I LOVE IT! It really helped the bottom-mid as promised! No more waiting forever to hit top speed. It is explosive now! Way better than when it was stock clutch with stock tires even! A well spent couple hundred!

 

Hey pineypower and Stokedz400, I'm thinking about upgrading my tires on my Suzuki vinson. How do you guys like those 589's Are they good in the mud and snow? Are they nice riding tires?

 

i love my 589s. they do take a little getting use to them on the road. they kick in mud and snow. i would buy them again.

 

U'm running the 27" Mudlites...they have 3 rides on them...like them so far.

 

where did you guys get your clutch kits? and do they help with the Auto-lag issues??? I run 26" 589's and love them, but the clutching sucks.
