bigred250es i dont know what your taking but ill have 2!...anyway why are you saying that for he said u want a good quad that wont let u down....not that it will outpull anything...i think this is hilarious that all of you people are goin phscho on other people it reminds me off the good ol days(5 years ago!!lol) anyway i have a favorite quad thats what i have i have no best quad in world but i do happen to have my favorite...this is really a dumb thread cause i mean think about it its like asking what the best truck is (dont answer that we already got one arguement) but its true....anyway i think if we all have are favorite quads no matter if we own them or not!....ive heard bad and good from all diff quads...but if you want to keep arguing go ahead i dont mind a chuckle here and there....o well its funny to see that all of you seem to be arguin like this...i think the best way to settle this is to make a poll!!!....then maybe he would get a good idea of what is best rated by users....anyway i wouldnt go with the cat right away though its hard to get a quad thats bug proof the first day it comes out so i would wait some time and see what other people say for it....i believe the fact that it should be a good quad and all but i would just be patient and not do what i did and buy the first day (very very very very bad idea lol) anyway im thinkin of a quad that im gonna build myself that should be the ultimate if i do it right!! .... anyway i think im done now this might just be the longest postthat ive typed yet...alright...well....hope u like whatever you pick!!

 

bigred250 your a lier and thats all there is to it....next time have someone one the 500 and have it in gear and running.Man if your going to lie You got to lie better than that.I have a sp700 and Il tell the truth must other big bores well out run it the only one it will bet in a race is the honda and they all will out jump it.But Ive yet to be out pulled and they own the mudd pit....Swallow your pride and tell the truth.Its ok to say what quad you like and why but save the b/s

 

see here is why u wanna fast utility.....out here where i live there is something called the police force...they dont take kindly to 4 wheelers here so if you ever go riding u need to take a backroad for about 100 yards or so u dont wanna go riding through the corn....anyway sometimes those cops set u up and your screwed but not if you have a fast 4wheeler [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] (p.s. even if you do have a fast 4 wheeler a car is the king of the road so make sure u have a escape route that is off of the road!! lol ....im just kidding guys but it could be a reason why!!lmao...sorry i just had to get that out!

 

I just got my 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660. I rode this weekend with a friend who has a SP700 and i was not impressed with the machine at all. It was only a year old and he had it beat to death. He let me ride it and i could not wait to get back on my stock grizz. We drag raced up the road where he lives and i smoked him easily. I have slammed the gate on the grizz at 67mph so far and it felt it had more left. I am 235lbs so i do believe that smaller person could probably come close to, if not beat the P650/700's with an 04 Yes, 04 Grizz. 02-03's sucked. Check out Highlifters "Silver Tip Grizzly" upgrade kit. $2,000.00 is alot of money for upgrades, but that will make one BadA$$ 04 Grizz that could not be stoped.

 

Hmmmmmmm, last time I checked the 2002-2004 Grizzlys were pretty much the same. Same engine, gearing and so on. The only changes were the 2003 model had smaller axles and drive shaft and the 2004's went back to the 2002 standard. The 2004's have new side panels, rev over ride button for the diff lock,new ratchet gas cap. So, what makes you think the 2004's are so special or more so than the 2002's or '03's?

 

The sp700 is not a drag racer by no means.I have a 02 and my buddy rides an 02 grizz weve raced many times and Ive never beat him.The other day we were out riding and again he wanted to drag race.I said ok but when you go to an atv pull they weigh up the quads to all weigh the same to make it fair for the lighter quads right.Right so I told him my 700 tips the scale at about 720 Im close to 290 lbs he gos about 200 pounds and his panda O sorry gizz gos about 600 not sure.So I told him lets but 250 pounds of sand bags on his grizz and drag race.Well just like when I ask him to back to back pull he said No.So when everyone talks about drag raceing these big bore quads why not make them the same weight to make it fair just like an atv pull....
