My father in law's Warn Winch 2000 is not working right. He got the cable wrapped around the outter part of the drum and the cable got stuck. I took it apart and got the cable unstuck. There was some damage to the Thrust washer and also to the Drum Bushing from the drum being shifted to one side. Now it appears to run fine except there is a loss of power after it is running for several minutes and drains the battery. Any ideas?

 

i have been havig major problems with my 2000 Warn losing power and draining my battery. I try using it inshort burst like recomended but you sometimes need for long pulls. Iheard of a high output alternator for my 03' Vinson. Can anybody give a suggestion.
