It's simple, the whole thing is BS. There is NO WAY this went down like he is saying it did. He would have needed a 100 yard run at that 700 to rip the rear swing arm off like he claims to have. Either that or the P700 would need to have been through Hell and Back for the swing arm to be that weak. Since the P700 has only been out for just a short time, that is highly unlikely.
Read the above post. This poor Lad experienced some traumatic event in is adolescent years and is venting his inadequacies in this make believe post. This obsessive behavior and cry for attention could be cured with several sessions of therapy and maybe even a 12 step program. Good luck to him.

"I gunner and seem to hear some clanking...and then IM taking off with no resistance at all...I turn around ...and I see the chain...wrapped around his rear axle and im pulling it down the rail way bed. "

This is got to be the sillyest post ever on this form..The bottom line is theres no better puller out there then the polaris 700{stock that is shootgun}Now ive been in several back to back pulls and not lost one now thats with a 740lbs quad and my 280lbs setting on it.But im setting hear trying to think how the chain got around his axel sounds to me like he hit it befor the other guy was even ready.ANd why the hell would you be happy braking someones quad anyway.Sounds like just another BS story to me....Like I said Ive never lost a back to back pull but on the other hand Ive never won a drag race.I guess some people moms never told them not to tell lies...

Gentlemen..Gentlemen...
Like I said...if this were a prairie winning story all you kawasuckie fans would be fanning out your feathers like a peacock..struttun around like your all that and a bag of chips. Your just sour with the inadequent purchase you made...and you cant stand to see someone elses brand of quad out perform yours. What happened in fact did happen...maybe it was poor quality control on the production line...maybe its just a crap product...i dont lie..

Bill35-- have you tried to pull a Traxter yet?? I bet you'll have your hands full if the guy on the Traxter weighs the same as you. The polaris does have an advantage being an auto and doesn't have to shift; because there is always a power loss in between shifts. ............ And Chelios it does sound very unlikely but STRANGE things can happen. The P700 deffinately has MORE POWER, a possibility of weakness is that the P700 & P650 have alumium swing arm assy. while the Yamaha is steel. But it almost seems like you would have had to had a running start lots of slack in the chain to do that. Guess I'd have to had seen it.

bill35- come to minnesota and I will show you a atv that can pull... as puttputt said a traxter... we pull full hay wagons up an incline of about 5 degrees. talk about power! I dont know anything else that could pull better then it. and mine is all stock...including the tires on it. When the other atv's get stuck in the mud I am the one that normally pulls them out. as long as I am not stuck either because of its weight (roughly the same as the sp700 I think) and the stocker's. come here and I will give you somethin to pull

i am going to have to start wearing waders when reading this post: GETTING PRETTY DEEP IN HERE!! I like the grizzly and the Prairie, both are nice machines. One thing I have found when it comes to a pull off is, 75% driver 25% quad. I have seen a guy that has done it a lot, with a little 323 polaris, pull a guy, with a 500, that has never done it before. Tires, temp, weight, surface, alot of factors to consider. All I have to say is that my daddys quad could pull your daddys quad. GROW UP and just have fun 4 wheeling.

MnFriesen I mite just take you up on that.I like Minnesota very nice state. As far as pulling agaist a Traxter no I have not. never even seen one on the trails hear in Missouri. But nothing from Canada well ever Win over something from the good old USofA. And thats the bottom line because me and polaris said so...The gloves are off now...And chelios I still think your full of crap or at least your story is..
