Just read how to disable the rev limiter on the Grizz. So, how do I do the same to my wifes Kodiak 400? Oh, and before someone says "do a forum search" I've already done one. Theres a few post about the Kodiak but no answers. The wires are different colors from the Grizz to the Kodiak, so I'm not sure what wire to ground.

 

I would love to know how to do that as well. For my Kodiak 450 though

 

Can you get a Clutch kit for the Kodiak 450? I know you can get one for the grizzly 660. Is it the same one or what?

 

I seen clutch kits for the Grizz and Kodiak 400, not sure if the 400 kit will fit the 450 though.

 

Check out ebay, they sell kits that work on the Kodiak for about $15. It's a lot easier than trying to figure it out yourself and everything you need is supposed to be in the kit.

 

Just bought a 04 kodiak 400...this one have the limiter?....only had it out once and went through some serious mud, put it in 4 wd and it sprang right out.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

A post on this forum in 2001 tells about the fix. search for the post title reverse rev limiter. It is by 400k. I do not know if it will work for the newer models, but its a start for everyone. Thanks to 400k.
