Default Rhino Lining!???

Has anyone used this on the fenders???.. On the outside not underneeth?? How well does it hold up?? Would it look okay??/ The reason im asking is because my fenders on my lander look like poop since its been rolled once and rubbed up against trees and gets ridden in thick brush... ARe there anyother things i could do.. Buying new plastic is out of the question and wouldnt be worth it

I dont know about putting it on fenders, it might look funny.

I wouldn't do the fenders, this stuff isn't smooth.

ElectricShift: How hard are the racks to clean after mud running??? Does much stick to them??? I was thinking about doing the same to my racks now that the paint is wearing off them, lining should help keep stuff from sliding on the racks too I guess.

Mud comes off easily, the only problem i have with it was that when i put my tie-down on the rack and went for a 3 hour ride...when i took off the tiedown the hook had worn off some of the lining, but it doesnt ever really chip off much at all.
-dont do fenders because the stuff had a texture to it...

I wont do the fenders, I do not think it will stick that great. If you flex the fender (catch it on a tree) then scrape it the liner will peal or tear off. Plastic is just not a very good base (Tried it on a plastic gas can and it worked for a while then slowly tore off from getting hit with stuff on the trail).

I have Line-X in my truck and think it's superior to Rhino. It goes on a lot smoother but it still has plenty of non-skid traction, it goes on from a hot spray that allows it to stick better, and it will wear 10x longer than Rhino (rub through 10 Rhino samples with one Line-X sample). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for your metal parts, I don't think straps or limbs will do any more than wear away, the Line-X isn't coming off. If it hit the fenders at a couple of hundred degrees, you might get a pretty decent bond as long as you scuffed away the shine first. Rhino is just too spongy for anything serious, it works good for folks that don't pound their equipment:-)
