Default Throttle Cable Problems on the 03 Grizzly

When I turn my bars all the way to the left, the throttle is opening slightly. I have checked the adjustment on both ends of the cable, and it is turned to max length. It seems as if it were binding, but I can't find where. It just seems the cable is to short. Have any of you all experianced this? If so is there any fixes, other than the new throttle cable? I've had this bike about a year, and it has done it since the day I brought it home. Any advice is appreciated.

I'd say the throttle cable is routed incorrectly and is pulling somewhere along the way.

Check the routing of the cable to make sure it isnt being pulled, which it sounds like it is.

Had the same problem, re route the cable where it goes through handle bar cover. That fixed mine.
