locking an atv?

Locking the axle is a good idea; however,
I'd add a hardened chain, or something like Kryptonite "Barbed Wire" cable, TheExoticOne; because: if they want it, they WILL carry it. Kryptonite manufactures a "Disc Lock" with a coupling to a length of looped "Barbed Wire" cable. The intended use is on motorcycles with disc brakes; the lock goes through the disc, while the cable is looped around a fixture like a light pole. This rig can be easily adapted for truck bed and quad applications.

True if they want it they will carry the bike. How about the trailer lock mod and addapt this to a pick up bed. I looks like a club for a car and hooks on the frame and on a bracket that is mounted to the trailer or truck. I saw this once in the back of a dirtwheels mag. I saw the caliper lock for mainly street bikes. they are $30-$40 the one at home depot is only $18 and is biggger. Just a little added security. This runs in my rear axle and through a larger eye bolt that is mounted to the concrete floor. And i also lock up all ocy/acy tank regulators and saws dont want to make it too easy.
