Hey big bad scramblehead....I am probably old enough to be you father. An if I was you father, I would go sue the doctors for losing your brain. If you had any smarts, you would have realized that honda was the 1st atv/atc maker and that is the reason there are more honda's in the woods. DID YOU KNOW THAT McDONNALS SELLS THE MOST HAMBURGERS, YET THEY ARE NOT THE BEST HAMBURGER OUT THERE.......SO SELLING 1MILLION ATV'S DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING......Please......please......please think before you open that big flapper mouth of yours. Oh, I am sorry, you don't know how to think. How about asking your pet rock what you should say.

TELLICO,

It's been a while since we last debated this subject. I've been away for a while and I come back to see that you make a point to post in every thread subject possible that the Grizzly is so superior to the Prairie and that all quads with IRS are superior. Allow me to retort:

The Prairie 700 is not a little faster than a Grizzly, it is MUCH faster than a Grizzly, IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. The Prairie doesn't handle better than a Grizzly, it handles MUCH better than a Grizzly. The Prairie is MUCH more stable than in off camber terrain than a Grizzly. The Prairie handles water crossings MUCH better than a Grizzly. The Prairie is every bit an equal to the Grizzly in the mud also. These are all WELL documented facts. I can attest to these facts through experience also since I ride with a gentleman with a Grizzly and he agrees with EVERY statement I have just made.

I have never rock crawled before so I can only assume that since you have and you ride with guys with Prairie's that Grizzly's are superior to Prairie's in the type of application. If so, that's the only thing a Grizzly can do better than a Prairie.

Listen, You're ignoring reason and you appear extremely desperate when you bash the Praire in every thread subject you post in. You are trying to justify your purchase and make yourself feel better about your Grizzly. You even started this thread and then jumped on a guy when he first brought up the Prairie. You know you were referring to the Prairie when you started the thread. Grow up and stop this nonsense.

I second that CAM650 I have not seen a post by TELLICO since December that was anything other than a bash on the Prairies. As a matter of fact most the post I have seen from him are in the Kawasaki Forum. I think he wishes his grizzly had a V-Twin. I'll admit I was going to buy a Grizzly nice trail Cadillac for people who ride with their butts planted on the seat down bumpy roads. But once I rode the Prairie I never even looked back, I also am not a rock crawler. I have gone up some ugly rock slides and climbed some pretty good ledges. So far the Prairie has never let me down. I have gone every place my buddies have on their Polaris Sportsmans so I have not seen were they have much if any advantage. But I think the shoot outs really tramatized him I'm sure he post on other subjects but like I said, I keep seeing him in the Kawasaki Forum railling against Prairies. But I see lots more people who owned Grizzlies who trade for Prairies than I see Prairie owners trading for Grizzlies. I think that speaks volumes by it's self.

We ride in shallow river basins that stretch for miles and miles. There are long stretches of no water and then there are stretches that the water depth varies greatly according to the time of year. The Prairie rules this type of terrain. No other quad can match the speed, handling and feel of the Prairie.

One of my friends has a Grizzly and he constantly complains about it's ability to cross in deeper water. He's the only one who has trouble. In the mud they are as good as a Prairie but certainly not better. On the long straight-aways the Grizzly falls painfully behind. The guy we ride with that owns a Grizzly always jokes that he needs to wear scuba gear or some other air filtration device because he sucks so much dust from the Prairie's.

Another thing that Tellico is fond of saying is that speed is not important in utilities and if he wants speed he rides his sport quads and that for his type of riding speed is not important. In the conditions we ride in, speed is important if you want to keep up. Sport quads are faster than the Prairie however they would be useless where I ride because they couldn't cross the deeper sections of the river. So the Prairie IS the perfect quad for where we ride.

Same here, most people in my area go for the prairie because it's hard to beat overall. But, I heard of one guy in my area choosing the Grizzly over the prairie ignoring the straight axle vs irs. He went with the Grizzly looks better and has colors to choose from thats why he choose the Grizzly! Wow! What a great innovation, more colors!

Prairieman,
then you might can talk a little, other than showing the world your intellegence, or the lack there of. Hahahahahahaha!
What the hell are you talking about? ...then you might can talk a little.., what is that. You can't spell either, here let me help you. I-N-T-E-L-L-I-G-E-N-C-E.

You half-wit! No doubt this explains why you bought a Prairie when you were really looking for the best machine, POLARIS. You've been angry at the world ever since. Buy a Polaris, your bitterness will disappear instantly. This must explain your anger at the world. If it wasn't for Polaris you'd still be riding 300cc Prairie's with no differential lock. Polaris' on demand 4wd is the only reason all the other manufacturer's ( except Suzuki) started offering diff lock on their quads. Same can be said about IRS.

IRS vs. Solid Axle, the pros & cons have been clearly stated, just wanted to give prairieman a different target.

To all you other Prairie owners out there, you know it's a great quad, but after reading his posts, you are probably wishing 700Prairieman bought something else.

On the other hand, Prairieman, you'll be bitter no matter what quad you own....keep your kawi!

......it's all in fun

Hi Tellico!!! Nice to talk to you again!!! LOL!!!

Listen, let's try to keep it Prairie's vs Grizzly's. The others are second class as far as I'm concerned. LMAO.
Littleboy: I agree with your friend in his assesment that Grizzly's look better and they do have more color combinations. I would NEVER argue that a Prairie looks better.
