Default getting stuck?

Was wondering, does weight really make a difference in swamps, will a lighter bike go farther or will they both get stuck, just probably easier to get out the ligher one.
I have a traxter XT, and I can't rock in when in the mud so when I'm stuck it feels like I'm never getting out, but when I used to get my 600 grizzly stuck I could rock it but still could not push it out by hand. Were talking about a 200lb weight difference but to me the fealt the same except grizzly could rock a bit and my traxter won't as its too wide and stable.
You hear all this hype about ATV's that are under 600lbs but when getting stuck does it really matter, will a small 350 big bear go farther then a 800lb traxter or Sportsman, never seen it and all need to get the winch to pull them out.

I would think a big bear with the same size tires as the traxter and assuming same ground clearance should be able to go the same mud pit! However the bigger engine size could spin those tires faster!
