flipped the quad
#1
My 20 year old son is finaly back from a year in Iraq. He wanted to play on my new vinson. After some "agressive" snow play,he flipped it. After he spit out the tooth chips & blood, and got himself together a bit,he got the vinson back on four wheels(upsidedown for five minutes). It had leaked some oil from the snorkle. After cranking over for a while it started. it seems harder to start now,and wont idle as smooth. It also smokes a bit. When I give it any throttle,it seems fine. Should I just ride it-is there any thing I should check???? Just wondering. BTW-We borrowed a friends honda four-trax so we would both have somthing to ride. We had to keep a rope on the front of the honda because it would get stuck so often . The Vinson pulled itself, and the honda along! Pretty cool

In my expirience, whenever I've rolled my Sportsman over, oil dumps into the air box. Last time it soaked the air filter and I had to replace it. I would also check the oil level since it's hard to tell how much dumped out.
