Default Tires off the Rims

How often do yall push a tire off the rim? I have done this three times the few monthes. The last time was this weekend. I got stuck in a hole, and was winching my self out, when my handle bars slammed to the left. Thats when I discovered that I had pushed my left front tire off the rim. Lucky I was able to re-mount the tire on the trail and keep riding. Would it help if I got some new tires? Whats the deal?

Do you have the stock tires still ? Are you running recommended air pressure ? Are the beads damaged ?

Good beads, recommended psi, and stock tires. I know why it happend one time, but the other times I have no idea. Once I was in a rut, and the edge of my tire rolled up on a big tree limb. Idk what happend the other times. I know that 6 ply tires are a lot more punture resistant, but would they stay on the rim better?

Run the tires at 1 psi higher then recommended and let me know if it happens again.

I have been having trouble with my rear tires losing air and sometimes coming off of the rim in deep mud. I've got new tires, new rims, and was running between 5-7 psi. I am having my tires dismounted, cleaned up, and remounted with bead sealer. I have been assured that this will take care of it. We'll see on the next ride.

i actually pulled a 28x10x12 mudzilla off the rim one time. it broke the bead, and we luckly remounted it, he hit a embankment at 30, the bike went over and him to, he was ok so was the bike, the zilla even had slime in it. we got it back on at home with ratchet straps, it sucked he had to drive like 10mi with a flat bead broken tire.

Vinson 581, how do you like your 589's? I'm considering getting some when my stocks wear out, but if crap like this keeps happening, I'm gonna get some a lot sooner.
