I have a 1999 Foreman 450s and the inside of the muffler is coming apart and you can hear pieces rattling around in there. Since I use the quad for hunting I'm looking for an aftermarket muffler that is fairly quiet. Although I do a lot of recreational riding on it I'm not worried as much about the performance gain as in how quiet it is. Thanks for any help.

 

Why not just buy another OEM one? The HMF Ecosystem or the Supertrapp IDSX would be good choices. Can't vouch for the FMF Powerline, although they claim 92 db and no need to ever repack. These last 3 would all require rejetting though.

 

From what I've seen the OEM ones are just about the same price as aftermarket and the aftermarket mufflers can be repacked.
