For me, the low range thing just adds unnecessary weight. I like the Honda philosophy of just putting on a very low 1st gear, and leaving the transfer case off.

Yeah they want use to make our own ultimate ATVs with all the accessories they make and want us to buy.

But when we tell them, the manufacturers, what we want we rarely get it. Instead they tell us what we need. This is no secret in the marketing world. They have been doing it to us with cars and shaving razors for years. whats next the gillette mach 200????? (not to mention politics, Canadian and US)

Maybe, just maybe, with a lot of luck, ok a whole hepping amount, manufacturers will read this thread and give Us what We are asking for. Not what they are telling us we need.

Iunno you dont have to agree, with me but thats how I see it.

Hey Goblin, Greenville Il. That's where I bought my 1st ATV. The Ol' ALT 125. I lived in Mason, and the dealer in Effingham wouldn't get right, so I broke out the map, and ended up in Greenville. I was 16 at the time. I traded an old KX 250 that was on it's last leg. I used to MX at Altamont. Is that track still there?
