Default Your Favorite Mud Tire

Well after going through the books and reading some posts i Ordered A set of 28-12-12 Mudzilla's and a set of 27-12-12 Mud Bugs. I thought they would be a good choice because they will cater to different riders, the Mudzilla being a hard-core mud tire and the Mud Bug being a little less agressive and providing a better ride.
-DarkmanX I wanted to get a set of Outlaws for stock really bad but Highlifter has been out of them for about 2 months now so i am having alot of trouble with that. I am going to put my name on a set 29.5's so i can have some of those however.
Thanks everyone

Beware of short tread life due to soft rubber lugs on the Mudlites.

Our Mud Runners have 3300 miles on them and will last the rest of the summer, approx another 8-1000 miles. They will be done and will not make it in the snow and spring mud. I would have to think this is pretty good for a full time 4-wd.

We ride in everything except sand (they were OK, considering this is not a sand machine or sand tires). Have been very satidfied and will replace them with the same thing.

The mudlites dont wear that particularly fast. Its when people take them on roads and through long rocky passes that they get gnawed down. For the average trail and light to moderate mud rider they are an excellent tire. The wear I have witnessed has been very even and predictable.

I bought a set of 25" GBC Gators. We do a lot of riding in Mud and rivers and these tires handle both very well. No complaints here!

I have noticed that alot of people on here use gators, I am going to have to find someone that has them and see how they perform first hand, Might be another good tire to bring into the mix.
-DarkmanX- yes the Raptors are still up for grabs

maddog56 is correct about the MudLites, it really depends on the terrain that you ride and I have seen the difference first hand. On occasion I ride with some people that live in a very rocky area so that half of the trails are all rock and the Lites do wear much faster on this terrain. My typical terrain is wooded trails full of logs and rocks but my tires are not wearing anywhere near as fast as the others.
