I will admit the outlander does have some features that the eiger doesn't have, But the outlander is more expensive.

both are very good machines...i would say spend the extra 1000...u get more machine...im not saying the eiger isnt a good machine just if i was in your position i would just take the bigger one...good luck on your decision and you'll be happy with whatever one you choose

I did it!!!, I bought a 2005 Suzuki Eiger auto 4X4 camo with winch. I've used it very little so far but from what i've seen it is exactly what i've been looking for. Thanks to everyone for they're input. It sure made making the decision easier.

I own a 02 Eiger 4x4 and havent had any problems yet. I ride on 26" SS Vamps and it does awesome in mud, thought about a lift kit but havent acted on it yet. You won't go wrong with the Eiger. Pretty quick too, not the fastest but not the slowest. I have heard people say around 50-55. I have raced a Honda 450s and killed it but wasnt looking to see how fast I was going.

Sorry but I'm not sure where you are getting your information from because the Sportsman 500 has never beat the Suzuki Vinson 500 in any shootout. In fact the Vinson has won every last 500 shootout in every magazine for the past few years.

Don't get me wrong, the Sportsman 500 H.O. is a great machine with IRS and may be every bit as good as the Vinson but it has never beat it in a shootout.

Hey outrage i wouldn't say that, the canadian version of an atv magazine which allways picks the polaris and bombardier has placed it higher before. Of course I didn't agree but hey aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Its thier opinion not mine.
