The problem is the Velcro tape keeps peeling off my Quad. Has anyone had this problem?

I have tried several kinds of adhesives and nothing seems to work. I have spent a few bucks "experimenting" already and don't want to spend anymore unnecessary funds, so hopefully someone has had this problem or has a good fix.

At this point I am thinking of screwing the Velcro tape on with small sheet metal screws???

It seems no one is interested in my little Velcro ordeal. Well, "I'm not going to do what everyone thinks I'm going to do and FREAK OUT." haha

Seriously, whatever the fix is I'm doing it this weekend and it looks like I'm leaning toward the screw idea. So any help would be greatly appreciated, even if its to tell me the screw idea is stupid.

did you try epoxy? sand paper the area first, so the epoxy has something to grip?

I have thought of epoxy, wasn't sure if it would work. Like I wrote before I spent to much $ trying other stuff wanted to go with something that would be a sure bet (even something as drastic as screwing it on). But if you or anyone has a pretty good idea that epoxy would work I would much rather go in that direction. Thanks

what i did was use zip ties to hold each piece of velco, drill right through both the velcro and plastic, works amazing for me, and its near the engine, where the glue was failing

Hi Have you tried 3M spray adhesive ? It is in a aerosol can and sprays on. We used it and velcro to hold laser equipment on our LAV III,s ( military vehicle ) as well as our old M113's APC'S . The laser gear was heavy and stuck on at all imaginable angles. We were out on exercise with it for two months in rain , mud , and deep water crossings. The 3m spray and velcro held up very well. I am sure it would work in your situation.

I hope this helps some

I know you guys have been on the edge of your seats. I just got back from the weekend.
I put the the velcro on then fastened it with the sheet metal screws and I must say, I don't like it much at all. Time will tell if it is going to work. Maybe I'll try one of these other ideas when this one doesn't work.

I should have just gotten the camo plastic. I got the yellow for hunting so it can be seen. The camo fender kit is mostly for the trails when I'd rather not stick out

Thanks for the help
