I just bought a drop rack made by Outdoor South Inc. It came with no instructions as to how to use the hardware. This is a universal rack and I'm attempting to install it on a 450 Foreman. I called the Company and Tech support wasn't available. I was hoping to get some instructions emailed to me.

Seems like a $200 rack would come with a cheap sheet of paper with some instuctions!

Anyone by chance installed one of these?

 

i got a drop rack back in 1999 for my grizzly 600.so its been awhile but i think it had these long plates(rectangle)one went under the rack on your bike the drop rack on top of that. then the other plate on top of drop rack .kinda like a sandwich .the plates are the bread and the drop rack in the middle.im not sure if you have the same one i had but good luck[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Mine is different,,, i have one like you are refering to on a 98 quadrunner 500. I figured out how to install the new one on my foreman. It came with 4 bolts, washeres, and C-shaped clamps. the clams wrap the existing rack and have a threaded nut attached. the bolts and washers fit in a gap between two square bars on then drop rack and thread into the C clamps. Was pretty simple once I figured it out.

IF ANYONE FROM THE OUTDOOR SOUTH INC. READS THIS.... TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE A SET OF DIRECTIONS AND PUT A COPY OF THEM WITH THE HARDWARE BEFORE SHIPPING THE RACKS.
