vinson is faster more cc's

thats pretty much all i know

you have to give us more info the trails what you'll be using it for etc etc.

 

What are you going to be using it for?

Do a search there is a bunch of stuff Vinson/Kodiak. Easier than typing what I know.

Lehighton I visit Nesquehoning quite frequently, good to hear from the coal region.

 

i'll be using it to ride around our farm (250 acres) i ride mostly in trails through the woods, once in a while off the trails though. the problem is the snow, we can easily get a ft. of snow in a big storm. so do i really need the locker? i also like the vinson because you can get the 5 spd. and i prefer semi-autos. i will also use it to haul firewood and other similar work. let me hear what you think. thanks.

 

thats a tough decision they are both very nice bikes.the locker and IRS are very cool options on the 05 kodiak.my friend owns a vinson 500 and i rode it a few times.got nothing bad to say about it .it feels and rides very nice.i t would be nice if it had a locker.the kodiak i never rode but sat on one at the dealer.im 6 ft tall so it seemed a little bit small for me.but thats just my opinion.you have a hard choice to make.good luck

 

the kodiak can easily accomodate a larger riders, as i am 6'2. i havent had any seat time on a vinson though, so i cant do a real good comparison... but i did have an 02 kodiak 400, and i always wished i had a locker. dont get me wrong, the kodiak will climb out of just about anything, but w/ a locker and now IRS, i cant imagine gettin stuck if u know wut ur doin. that kodiak in 3wd did better than the sportsmans w/ the way it climbed

 

IRS and DIFF LOCK on Kodiak, that'd make my decision right there.
