Tires for the big 4x4's, what's your take?

I love my ITP 27" 589's the hook awesome in the snow and in the mud but are quite heavy. How heavy are the mud lights with a wheel on them?
When i got mine shipped ups already installed on the rim each tire and rim was 44lbs each.
That was with the ITP c-series wheel with ITP 589's installed.

I've been looking at Super Swamper TSI tires (not Vampires) in stock height but slightly wider width. They aren't as hard on the environment as some of the more aggresive ones yet still kick @$$ in mud.

You know, the stock tires on the '05 Rhino are a VERY GOOD all around tire and don't tear up the terrain like the 589s do. Were you having problems with the stock tires on your Rhino or did you just opt to upgrade "because"?

Well, yeah all 4 stuck tears up the ground, I'm talking about riding when you aren't in mud - like across pasture. My stock Grizz tires even rip it a little. I know 589s would be way worse...
So, your 589s have pulled you through stuff like you got stuck in the 2nd pic? Looks like clearance problems...

Well, I just experienced what you were talking about. The tires that come stock rip up the ground pretty well but they don't move you forward while doing it so they do tear up the stuff worse when riding. Still across pasture, I believe the less aggressive tires would be a better option. I'm wondering how the Super Swamper TSI tires would be as an all around tire. They aren't as aggressive as the Vamps or 589s but they are still pretty effective in mud. Anyone have any experience with them?
