Running rich
#1
Well I finally got the time to put a new plug in the Big Bear and get her out for a run. Bike is definitely running too rich (black plug).
History - Added a K&N filter and a Dyno Jet Stage 1 kit. Bike would barely run with c-clip in the third notch as DJ recommended for my altitude. Moved the c-clip up on notch as suggested by someone on here, and it runs way better with tons of mid and top end, but a little less low end then before the mods.
I am running the 128 jet as they suggested, but should I drop to the 124 jet to match the c-clip change, or just mess around with the air/fuel mix settings?
Thanks.

I had the exsact problem you are having now. Had a DJkit & k&n and was running to rich, mine called for a 144 jet and I accidentaly put in a 148. Mine had the bog on take off but had real good mid & top preformance. Put the 144 in no more bog and great power through the band.
