I went with the Eagle because I really like the quick mount system they use. Makes it easy not only to install the plow onto the ATV, but remove the frame mount for trail riding. I'm curious to see how well the hydraulic turn works and if it's worth the extra dough. Seems like I got a great deal. Only $345 complete(not including the hydraulic kit) at www.recstuff.com, including free shipping! That's about $50 less than any other dealer I could find on ebay, and about $60-70 less than any other local dealer. This price may have been a "show special" though, as I originally found these guys at the Mpls Snowmobile and ATV show a couple of weeks ago. Now, all I need is snow in MN to try it out. I'll let eveyone know what I think of the turn kit once I use it a couple of times.

Haven't seen a hydraulic one, but I have seen an electric one. I believe I'd rather have the elctric.. just a lot easier to deal with.

I have the Warn set-up on my Polaris its the 60" and operated off my winch, unhook the winch and 2 pins and its off! and the plate thats left on when the plow is off, doesnt affect your clearance either, and its pretty heavy duty (heavy).
I really wanted the smaller blade, because of not having a big cc machine..
but got a great deal and just chanced it.
And I'll tell you..my stock 400 Sportsman has no problem at all pushing the big rugged blade!
I did my whole pond (bout 1/2 acre) just yesterday with about 10" of snow and 2" of slush under that,I dont beat my machine at all and didnt have to at all!
I have plowed my driveway this year already with 2 storms and think its just awesome.
Im sure you guys with the big machines will have no problem pushing one.
And its pretty heavy and stays down to the ground well....good luck with whatever

Not exactly true on the clearance.. but close enough... Unless you try crossing logs on a regular basis... The two tabs do hang down, and will catch a bit on logs if you are not careful... And they may get bent and require some attitude adjustment with a hammer from time to time... but they are pretty rugged.

yeah thats a good point! I never thought of it that way, having something drag across the bottom like a log etc. Prolly would drag on them tabs. but as far as snow, mud etc. would still be good.I didnt think of the log or pile of sticks or something to that affect ; )
other than that it is a pretty good set-up.
Anyone know a resonable place to purchase a "big wheel" kit? like 27" maby?

I went with the 60" Moose plow for my Grizzly. I couldn't be happier. I like the extra weight up front it helps the blade get right down to the pavement. I run it without the skids as well. I think weight is an an advantage up front for plowing. I can easily pick up the 60" moose plow. While it's not light, its defiantely movable around the garage when not in use.

I too have a Moose 60" but use the winch to lift it. My experience is that traction is everything and this year I'm running ITP Trailmasters and they're awesome. I run the skids and the plow scrapes clean to the pavement cause of the weight. My last quad had 589's and I thought those were good but the Trailmasters seem unstoppable. I used to put a weight box on the rear with a couple of sandbags but they're not needed with the trailmasters. I wish someone with the Eagle Hydraulic angle unit would write in and let us all know how it works. Big snow tonight, can't wait to get out and push!

I got a 60 inch Moose on my AC650, and I just got a 72 inch Cycle Country on my Rhino. Moose sure makes a better plow. Much stronger, and with the heavy blade get right down to the dirt. We do not have many paved roads. Worst part in when you hit a rock!.
