Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm........Dirt Wheels. Well, ya get what ya pay for........j/k (sorta). I will give 'em a lil' slack. The 800 was pre-production. The KQ in ATVR was a press intro. DW, along w/ some others, was there too. If you compare the pic.s, you'll notice it's the same place. We, uh I mean ATVR is waiting for all of the contenders to be present before launching a ~real~ Big Bore Shoot-out.

I thought the DW article this month was just an early comparison of a few top dogs, and the big shootout is yet to come, I am just glad they plan to include the P700 in the big shootout. I realy think its still a strong compeditor. even though its not Kawi's top dog anymore.

This has me thinking, shouldn't Kawi have three entries? BF650, BF750 and P700? Since AC's big bore bike is a 650 and the griz with it's 660 and the Rubicon 650, the choice of what to compare will draw many comments at the very least. Polaris should also have the 700 and the 800cc bikes included as well.
Further to this thread, how one measures the order of the shootout is 90% subjective. Why else are we debating this now?
Having said all of this the choice we have now is nothing short of spectacular.
One last comment:
Lets not forget that DW is a FOR PROFIT company therefore articals and shootout results will be edited to suit DW and their largest source of revenue, the manufacturers.

I think they use something like 4 -6 test riders / editors running score cards that get avaged and compiled into a general result. Not that any of these guys are perfect but they do ride quads for a living and have access to more quads than anyone else, I have been a Kawi fan ever since the P650 came out and now they are knocking the BF750, but I value there opinoion just the same, and can see to some degree where they are coming from with the review. I have road all of them but the polaris and would have placed them different but I do understand what they are saying. All 3 of the quads tested have there good points and bad, It is up to us the consumer to weigh out the pros and cons and buy the one that fits our own wants and needs the best.
