Sorry to butt in here.

86LT250RFatty,

I was just looking at your photo page and I bet your the only one in the USA with an (english) right foot shift version of the Raptor.

You have a very rare raptor.

Looks like those 'rare' English Raptors also come withthe words "AHAMAY" on the fuel tank. Almost like the pic was posted in reverse.

BUT, if you are wanting a utility quad that can pull very good, the polaris 800efi would be the 1st choice. This is due to the weight issue. Remember that you can have the strongest motor, but if you don't have the weight to put it to the ground and not spin the tires, the power is no go.

I'm planning on using my big *** for the extra weight on my BF.

I wouldn't mind an affordable and reliable EFI system but the Polaris has those damned annoying brakes and I'm not sold on the 4x4 system. I want to be able to control what type and when I'm in 4 wheel drive. Plus I was in a non-dealer shop that said any ATV I was considering (Griz, BF, KQ, AC) would be a good choice but stay the h*ll away from Polaris ATVs. I asked why and he showed be his repair shop and the majority of the ATVs waiting to be fixed were Polaris. It kinda shocked me as I was seriously considering an new Polaris with EFI.

Looks like the BF if something else doesn't come out before I buy in the (hopefully) next few months.

The reason I bought my BF750 over the King Quad, after riding them both was that the BF had enough low end grunt to keep the bike interesting. Love the Brute!

Hello Guys. For everyone worried about the price difference between the KQ 700 and the Sportsman 800, then why not compare the Sportsman 700 carb to the KQ? This seems like a more reasonable comparison. It has all the added features of the 800 EFI (except aluminum wheels), but is only $100 more than the KQ.
Have a good day.

Everyone makes great quads. Just depends on if you rode one or not. I can't tell you much on the king quad. Never rode one. Heard they are beasts though. I have rode a ton of the BF's since we sell them. I think they are great quads. I just ride them in and out of the shop to close the place down. Not much time on them but they do have great acceleration and the suspension is great. Im used to the solid rear axels so it definately takes some getting used to with the IRS. Its got awesome ground clearance. My buddy has one and he hardly gets stuck. It goes through the deepest water! It looks great and its got those cubby holes on the front fenders!!! Besides the tie rods bein weak, thats the only prob i've seen with them. Like was said before, you got to experience the quad yourself before tellin people its junk without riding them.
