Default ITP 589 on rear of eiger?

I need to replace the rear tires of my eiger 4x4, does anyone see a problem with just replacing the rears with the 589s? I am using the same size but I am worried about the new ones having so much tread and messing up the transfercase.

I don't think I'd replace the rears without also replacing the fronts too. Different brands and tread types of tires can really vary in height, even if they are listed as the same size. Pretty sure that an ITP 589 25x10x12 is a taller tire than the OEM Dunlops of the same size. No problem in 2wd, but once in 4wd your tires are trying to rotate at a different speed and can really do some damage, especially on a hard trail surface.
