Kolpin quality control? #2
I just posted on Polaris. Has anyone had problems with Kolpin quality control? I just recently purchased a chainsaw press and later a molded bucket hugger that holds two 5 gallon buckets. When I opened the undamaged boxes, both items looked as if they were hammered on by a child during assembly. I know it was not shipping damage. (On the bucket hugger, there are two nuts that are pressed into the top of the basket to hold gun grips, they look as if they were hammered in and the person missed about 100 times). When I called Kolpin customer service, she insisted it was damage from shipping and to call the store I purchased it from. "I don't think UPS even carries hammers."
I'm now looking for a rack or basket that holds two 5 hallon buckets without hanging off the back of the ATV. Does anyone have any ideas? I prefer the molded plastic because every time I put something metal on my ATV it starts to rust and rattle. Thanks for your help.

I'm not saying Kolpin makes bad products, maybe my orders were just an isolated incident. I just want to know if anyone else had the same problem as me. When I talked to JCWhitney, they had no problem taking the items back. It's real hard to buy things on line when you can't take it out of the box and inspect it.
