Default Crossing Rivers- help!

Please forgive my sarcasm as no ill intent exists, but the simplest way of avoiding belt problems in water crossings is to go with the Honda hydrostatic drive on the Rubicon or one of the other non-belt drives that Honda uses.

If your real deep you'll just suck water into your engine so you will still have to snorkel that Honda.

Sparky, you are right. I do not plan on getting in that deep but one never knows, does one?

The thing with the belt case is that it is so much lower than the air intake that it will be under water way before you have to worry about the engine ingesting water. But, your point is well taken once you are in over the seat.

On the Grizz all the intakes are about the same height with the engine maybe being a little lower.
