Default 60$ dollar winches

Sudbury Ont. Costco still has a pallet full of them winches left. I think I'll buy one for using to pull up an anchor on the boat.

For anyone interested in these winches!

These winches that you are all talking about are made by one company. Chicago Electric. These winches are exactly the same as Superwinch. The Superwinch is the Chicago Electric winch just with the Superwinch sticker. You dont have to use the supplied hand remote with these winches. I have had one on my 330 Trailboss since the beginning of 04. I have pulled ALOT of utes out of the mud, up hills and out of water. It has not let me down yet. They key to getting full pulling power would be to get a second battery. These do draw alot of current. For $50 buks you just cant beat it. You can see a switch that I wired up to the winch. It sure beats the handheld.

Neither. I used a 30amp heavy duty winch switch from Lowes. I have not had a problem yet.

30 amps switch live a short life, even at there rated output, they don't last long, especially going over 30 amps,. which these winches constantly do

It has been a year so far with tons of pulls from work and play. No problem! And it only cost $6.00.
